High Cross was the best house in the best place that I could ever have wished for, to have all my family to celebrate my 80th Birthday. The oldest member was 85 and the youngest just 9! Everyone was completely happy and loved everything the house had to offer. Table tennis, pool, 2 sitting rooms, comfy beds and wonderful kitchen which was beautiful. I cannot recommend this house more! Thank you Barbara and team.

Highcross is a fabulous property to stay in. We have made the happiest memories with family and friends during our stay's there. It is very clean, with lovely bed linen, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of comfortable furniture for everyone to relax in. The host for the house is very professional and helpful. This our third visit to Hichcross but most definitely not our last!

This house is absolutely brilliant, this is our fourth stay at this wonderful house. My family agree this house feels like home; it has everything you could possibly want from a holiday rental, it makes weekends in Frinton so easy as the location is perfectly close to the beach and high street. There is ample parking, the house is beautifully presented and we have had many, many good times here as a family.

We have had many wonderful stays at Highcross over the years and this year was no exception. It’s such a fantastic holiday home to spend a family week. It’s well equipped, always clean and has an amazing entertaining space with the kitchen, longes and gorgeous large garden. The pool room and trampoline provide loads of entertainment too. This house ticked all my boxes when I went to view it. Bedrooms for all my guests with enough bathrooms/walk in showers/ toilets to suit able and less abled. Very large kitchen/dining area bright and airy. Tastefully decorated and spotless throughout. Easy access for all things Frinton. As we are all ladies who have been best friends for many years, we did not use the various equipment and toys available for children but there are many. We were lucky enough to enjoy some good weather so sitting in the front garden and out on the back patio there’s always a sunny spot during the day because of the position of the house. Barbara is extremely helpful in organising everything and I have no hesitation in recommending this house for a large group, and indeed Frinton Holiday Lets company.

This was our 3rd time staying at the wonderful High Cross - truly this house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We stayed as a large group from ages ranging 9 months - 72 and it was the perfect base for a family weekend together. It feels as though this is our home from home as we frequent bi-yearly and have such warm memories of the house. The house is completely perfect for young children - in particular I love that one bedroom can accommodate up to 6 children in one room - they have so much all going to sleep together and waking up together. Truly think you would be hard pushed to find a better holiday home in the UK! We look forward to coming back :)

This is our second stay at Highcross and it was even better than the first. There have been several excellent improvements to the house....a house that I thought could not have been any better than on our first visit! We had a truly magical stay in this stunning house - all the bedrooms have been decorated to a high standard and are extremely comfortable. The living areas have also been updated and are so beautifully furnished that it is more than a home from home, as it is so much better than where we actually live! The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped and there was not one thing that we needed and couldn't find. The outdoor space is stunning and very well-maintained. The children had a great time in the wendy house and trampoline...and the big kids loved the pool room. All in all we had the best time and it made for the perfect venue for us and our friends. A lovely house for our three-generation family holiday. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door, and had a wonderful week together. HIghcross is spacious, well-equipped and welcoming, with so many thoughtful touches and games, toys, books and activities for all ages. If you can tear yourself away from the house and garden, it is only a short walk to the beach or shopping street, both of which were rated highly by all of us. 'Frinton is my favourite holiday place' said the oldest grandson, and we all agree - we'll be booking Highcross again next year!

Our second 1 week family visit to Highcross. A lovely house particularly suitable for those with children as so much provided for them. The size and general airiness of the property means that even with a very large number of guests - we were 17 at one point - you never feel 'on top' of one another. Location is excellent for beach - just 200 yards or so away - although it is disappointing that the beach hut which was previously part of rental is no longer available.

Thank you Highcross for a fantastic stay. The accommodation, facilities and service by Frinton Holiday Lets were outstanding. The younger ones in our group were blown away by all the toys, Wendy house and trampoline while the adults loved the sun trap at the front of the house, in the evenings. The kitchen was a fabulous size for the size property and sat 14 of us, comfortably around its large table. The house and bedrooms, despite being large were very homely and cosy - we can’t wait to go back! Thank you

What an absolutely fabulous place to stay. We booked as a group of 16 people to celebrate a special birthday and we were not disappointed. Every room was immaculate and decorated to a very high spec. The kitchen was a fantastic, social entertaining space and we really made the most of it. The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed drinks on the patio as the sun went down. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach with lovely walks along the coast. The little town is very quaint and we found a lovely place for Sunday lunch. I would totally recommend this property and Barbara at Frinton Lets could not do enough for us which made the organisation of our stay so much easier. Hope to come back and repeat the experience in the future. If I could give it 100 out of 10 I would!

A beautiful house - was a thrill to stay here. Beautifully decorated and made up ready for us, lots of fun games in the cupboards and interesting books on the shelves. The kids loved the bunkbeds. A trampoline and football nets in the front garden a nice surprise too! Loads of space, nice and quiet on a nice street a short walk from the beach. We'd stayed at Highcross before in October. Everyone said it was a brilliant place to be in the summer - and they were right! The house and garden are spacious, comfortable, very well-equipped, and close enough to the beach to be able to enjoy the sea and sand with the children every day. This review is regarding The White House. Its brilliant in every way. The house has all amenities you could ever need and the position is perfect. The beach, pier and town are in easy reach. With two children we have stayed three times and I hope it continues for many more.

Flat C Eastry. This was our third holiday in this flat and as before we had a great time. The flat is spacious with wonderful views of the sea and coastline. All of the rooms are of a good size, with the lounge being particularly accommodating. The bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped. I highly recommend this property let.

This house is absolutely lovely and ideal for a large group or multiple families. It is traditionally furnished but with a huge modern kitchen with bifold doors leading to a patio and all round garden with a play hut. If you stay there you should stay in as much as possible to enjoy the house and all it’s facilities! We only went out for a few hours. I hope to go back again with the mums, grannies and babies

We had a fantastic stay at Highcross. There were 14 of us in total and was more than enough space. The house is fully kitted out with all facilities and the outdoor space is amazing. It’s a shame the weather wasn’t better or we would have used the BBQ. We used the beach hut which was fab, would be even better in the summer. If you are looking for somewhere for a special occasion I’d highly recommend.

It's stocked with everything you need for cooking big meals, the children's lounge and the garden kept all the children happy whatever the weather, the bedroom layout made it very flexible to suit four families. This is a fabulous house, fully equipped for our party of 8 adults and 5 children. We were celebrating a birthday and had another family of relations for tea, there was the space and facilities for us all. The information provided beforehand was good and if anything played down the beauty of the house and its garden which had so much for the children (6mths to 8years). We so enjoyed the beach hut, we arrived when the sea was splashing over the wall and bid goodbye to a lovely sandy beach hours later, what a pleasure, everything we could need was there from kites to buckets and spades, chairs and tea bags! Thank you for giving efficient service, well presented clean house that we could use as our own for the weekend.

We needed a large house for our family over Christmas and from the web site it seemed to fit the bill. The agent was very helpful with providing information before and after we decided to go ahead. On arrival we were very pleased to see the house was spacious comfortable and warm with Christmas decorations. We found it to be very clean, well equipped in fact a perfect venue for our large family. The family all said they had a magical time .
